At the heart of who we are at HFCS is our religious faith. Our Catholic identity is emphasized throughout our curriculum and religion is taught at all levels.
PreK 3, PreK 4, and Kindergarten are taught religion by our certified early childhood religion instructor. Grades 1-4 are taught religion by our two religious sisters. Grades 5-8 are taught by our middle school religion teacher.
Religion class is held daily except on Tuesdays or Holy Days of Obligation, when students attend Mass celebrated by one of the priests from Holy Family Parish. In addition, we also commemorate a variety of Catholic traditions like Blessing of the Pets, All Saints Day, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Catholic Schools Week, Mardi Gras Parade Viewing Party, Fat Tuesday Pancake Breakfast, Stations of the Cross, Vocation Chalice, and May Crowing. The Eighth Grade also participates in a retreat.
