All students must be completely toilet trained prior to the first day of school. Holy Family Catholic School does not have staff to assist your child with toilet training. Toilet training is defined as follows
Admission is based on the availability of space, developmental, scholastic, and behavioral qualifications of the applicant, and resources available to meet student needs. Elementary and middle school applicants must have grades of “C” or better in all academic areas, standardized test scores appropriate for the level in reading, math, language and the composite score, and a behavior rating of satisfactory or better. Parents are expected to disclose with appropriate school personnel any significant confidential information, which may affect their child’s educational progress. Such sharing includes, but is not limited to, any of the following: diagnostic evaluations, medications or specific family situations. Failure to disclose such pertinent data at any time during the school year may result in subsequent dismissal.
New students are admitted on a probationary basis, while teachers and the principal evaluate whether we can meet the student’s academic, social and emotional needs and work in a successful partnership with the family. Holy Family Catholic School remains committed to a philosophy of inclusion. The admissions committee will carefully consider students for enrollment who have special needs, based on the extent of modifications needed and the academic, social and emotional make-up of the class.
